Kentucky Hand & Physical Therapy was founded in March 2002 in Lexington by two local hand therapists, Donald Greg Pitts MS, OTR/L, CHT, and Jason Willoughby MS, OTR/L, CHT.
They founded KHPT on the basic principle of quality patient care. As a result, patients see and are treated by their therapist or under close the supervision of their therapist at every visit. The result is higher quality, consistent care and the ability to change treatment plans based on the progress of each individual patient.
Under that treatment philosophy, KHPT has grown from one location and two therapists to four locations in Lexington, Richmond and Georgetown and has become the onsite provider of hand therapy services at Toyota Manufacturing in Georgetown.
KHPT is now owned and operated as a Drayer Physical Therapy Institute facility.
